of Freedom. America’s highest civilian honor, the Medal of Freedom

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which the U.S. House of
Representatives passed yesterday on a 244-188 vote.

ensure that there is truly equal pay for equal work in this country. An
identical bill backed by Rodriguez passed the House in 2007. The bill

recognition of the National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, which occurs on
October 15 of every year. In recognizing the importance of the day,

by getting tested, volunteering at local testing facilities, and
