Education & Early Life
Mr. Ramirez holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Texas, at Pan American College in Edinburg Texas. Mr. Ramirez is married to Victoria Ramirez in 1966 in Laredo, Texas. They have two children Joe Chris Jr., and Veronica and five grandchildren. He is a member of SHRM for over 10 years and others listed below. They reside in Kingwood, TX where they have lived since 1982. Joe enjoys music, karaoke, photography, video production and Harley- Davidson motorcycles. Following college graduation in 1965, he moved to Houston, TX and began a lifetime career within the Human Resources and Executive Recruiting Industry culminating with founding and ownership of one of the world's leaders in Real Estate an Energy Industry executive search.
CAREER EXPERIENCE
THE BOEING COMPANY-Houston, Texas and Seattle Washington
He began his career as an Engineering Recruiter for the Boeing Airplane and Aerospace divisions and was quickly promoted into management role overseeing extensive international recruiting programs for the Commercial and Aerospace divisions. He assisted Boeing with an international program involving an international recruitment program of over 25,000 engineering, technical and executive management employees.
He then was recruited by an emerging growth firm as a Human Resource Director and assisted this firm in major staffing endeavors, which enabled them to grow into the Fortune 500 ranking. To achieve his lofty professional goals, he joined a Houston premier executive search and recruiting firm,. and became the top producer within an 18 month period. During this period, he developed the industry and discipline specialization programs.
JOSEPH CHRIS PARTNERS-Houston & Kingwood, TX 1977 to 2008
In 1977, he founded the company, which has since become Joseph Chris Personnel Services, Inc. and subsequently Joseph Chris Partners, JCR Executive Search, Real Estate Grad and Energy Executive Search International. In addition, he has been commissioned to handle the highest level of fully retained corporate-level search assignments with private and public firms on a domestic and international level. He has distinguished himself with articles in top industry publications and speaking engagements with major colleges and universities.

As Founder and President, the Hispanic Executive Society International (HESI), is an IRS approved non-profit 501(c 6) organization founded on March 15,2008 by Joe Ramirez, a retired human resource executive who has been a resident of in Kingwood since1982. The chapter organization's member'swho are business owners, professionals, housewives, business executives, educators, and leaders within various sectors of the Kingwood, Humble and Atascocita, TX, communities. HESI members are very passionate about improving and enhancing the lives of children, students and adults who are Hispanics and Latinos. The chapter serves the Kingwood-Humble-Atascocita and surrounding area. HESI's primary focus is with Business Networking, Education, Career Development, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship.
